Description:

Guardian by Elexa is a sophisticated leak and flood detection/prevention system that can be easily installed without the need for tools or a plumber. The Guardian system consists of two essential components: the Valve Controller and the Leak Detector.

The Valve Controller is designed to be installed on your existing water main valve and is compatible with a range of quarter-turn ball valves with pipe diameters ranging from ½" to 1-¼". The Leak Detector, on the other hand, operates on battery power and communicates wirelessly with the Valve Controller using a local 915 MHz RF network, offering an impressive range of up to 1000 ft. These detectors can be conveniently placed near plumbing fixtures and appliances to effectively monitor and detect any potential water leaks.

An exceptional feature of Guardian is its ability to promptly respond to any water detection signals from the connected devices. As soon as water is detected by any of the devices, the Valve Controller will swiftly shut off the water main, ensuring that potential damage is minimized. Additionally, you will be promptly notified about the situation, allowing you to take immediate action.

The Guardian mobile app offers a range of useful features, such as the ability to set up and control multiple Valve Controllers and Leak Detectors, conveniently organize your devices, access event history, and receive mobile notifications.

Key features of the Valve Controller include its simple DIY installation process that does not require any specialized tools or professional plumbing assistance. It also supports connectivity with over 50 sensors, eliminating the need for motor calibration. Furthermore, it offers an optional battery backup for added security and peace of mind. Additionally, the Valve Controller enables leak detection with an optional remote probe.

On the other hand, the Leak Detector boasts essential features like water detection, temperature reporting, movement/tamper detection, optional remote probe connectivity, and an impressive wireless range of over 1000 ft.
